Welcome to this body scan meditation. Allow yourself to settle into a comfortable position, sitting or lying down.

Close your eyes gently, or lower your gaze. Let your arms rest naturally in your lap or by your sides.

Take a slow, deep breath in through your nose, filling your lungs completely. As you exhale through your mouth, let your body soften into the space beneath you.

Bring your awareness down to your feet. Feel your soles touching the ground. Notice any sensations of warmth, coolness, or pressure. Allow any tension in your toes and ankles to melt away.

Move your attention up into your calves, knees, and thighs. Notice how your legs feel without trying to change anything. Simply acknowledge any sensation, and allow your muscles to loosen and rest heavy.

Now, shift your focus to your hips, lower back, and abdomen. This area often holds quiet tension. Take a deep breath into your belly, letting it expand fully. As you release the breath, feel the muscles around your pelvis unwind.

Travel higher into your chest and upper back. Feel the gentle rhythm of your breathing. With every exhale, let your spine lengthen and your chest feel open and spacious.

Bring your attention to your shoulders, neck, and throat. Shoulders often carry the weight of our day. Allow them to sink downward, away from your ears. Feel any tight knots unraveling and dissolving.

Move your awareness down into your arms, hands, and fingers. Soften your hands and let your fingers curl naturally. Feel a wave of calm relaxation flowing through your arms.

Finally, shift your focus to your face, jaw, and head. Unclench your teeth and allow your jaw to relax. Smooth out your forehead and let the delicate muscles around your eyes soften. Your whole face feels smooth and tranquil.

Now, feel your whole body as one complete system. From the top of your head to the soles of your feet, you are grounded, relaxed, and fully present. Rest in this quiet peace.

Slowly begin to deepen your breath, bringing fresh energy into your mind and body.

Gently wiggle your fingers and toes, welcoming soft movement back into your physical form.

When you are ready, open your eyes, taking this sense of ease and connection with you into the rest of your day.
