Welcome to this guided breath awareness meditation. Find a comfortable position where you can remain alert and relaxed. Allow your spine to be naturally tall, resting your hands softly in your lap. Gently close your eyes, or soften your gaze toward the floor.

Take a gentle breath to mark the start of your practice, letting your body settle into this space. Feel the support beneath you, holding you grounded and steady. Leave behind whatever you were doing before this moment, and give yourself full permission to simply be here, right now.

Now, shift your focus softly to your breath. There is no need to change or force the way you are breathing. Simply observe the natural rhythm of your body drawing air in and letting air out.

Notice where you feel the sensation of your breath most clearly. It might be the cool feeling of air entering your nostrils, the rising and falling of your chest, or the steady expansion and softening of your belly.

Pick one point of focus where the breath feels most vivid, and allow your attention to rest right there.

As you inhale, feel your body quietly filling with fresh energy and presence. As you exhale, feel a subtle release, letting go of any physical tension you might be holding onto.

Follow the full journey of a single breath. Trace the beginning of the inhalation, the brief turning point at the top, the steady path of the exhalation, and the quiet pause before the next breath begins naturally on its own.

If your mind begins to wander into thoughts, plans, or memories, know that this is completely natural. The moment you notice your mind has drifted, you have already returned to the present moment.

Gently, and with kindness toward yourself, acknowledge where your mind went, and softly bring your awareness back to the comforting anchor of your breathing.

Riding each wave of breath, moment by moment. Breathing in, and breathing out. Simply resting in the awareness of this breath.

Allow your breath to anchor you continuously in the reality of right now. There is nowhere else you need to go, and nothing else you need to accomplish. You are simply sitting here, breathing, and completely present.

Now, slowly widen your field of awareness. Feel your physical body sitting in this room. Notice the contact of your body with the chair or floor, the temperature of the air against your skin, and the subtle sounds around you.

Take one slightly deeper breath in, filling your lungs completely, and exhale fully with a long, soft release.

When you feel ready, gently blink open your eyes, taking this feeling of grounded calm with you into the rest of your day.
