Welcome to this practice of gratitude. Find a comfortable position where your body feels supported and at ease. Allow your eyes to gently close or soften your gaze toward the floor.

Take a slow, deep breath in through your nose, filling your lungs completely. And gently release the air through your mouth, letting go of any tension you might be holding.

Allow your breathing to return to its natural rhythm. You do not need to change anything about your breath right now. Simply notice the gentle rise and fall of your chest and belly.

As you settle into this moment, bring your awareness to the physical space you occupy. Feel the support beneath you. Notice how it holds your weight effortlessly. You can simply rest here, knowing you are safe and grounded in this exact moment.

Let us begin to cultivate a sense of appreciation, starting with the body. Notice your heart beating in your chest, working quietly and continuously to sustain you. Feel a gentle wave of gratitude for your body and all the ways it allows you to experience the world.

Now, bring to mind one simple thing from today that you are grateful for. It does not need to be a grand event. It could be a warm cup of tea, a moment of sunlight on your skin, or a kind word from a stranger.

Picture this simple gift clearly in your mind. Notice the colors, the textures, and the feelings associated with it.

Allow the feeling of appreciation for this small moment to expand within your chest. It might feel like a warm glow, a soft radiance gently spreading through your torso.

Now, expand this awareness to someone in your life who brings you comfort, joy, or support. Bring their face into your mind's eye.

Silently send them a thought of thankfulness. Acknowledge the unique light they bring into your life, and notice how this act of silent appreciation warms your own heart.

Gratitude is not about ignoring the difficulties of life. It is about intentionally making space for the good, the beautiful, and the true. Take a moment to simply rest in this feeling of contentment, allowing it to anchor you in the present.

Feel this gratitude flowing through you with each breath you take. With every inhale, draw in peace. With every exhale, let gratitude radiate outward.

You have everything you need in this very moment. You are breathing. You are alive. You are here.

As we draw this practice to a close, take one more deep, intentional breath. Fill yourself up with this feeling of deep appreciation for life.

Slowly begin to bring movement back into your body. Wiggle your fingers and your toes. Notice the sounds in the room around you. And whenever you are ready, gently open your eyes, taking this sense of gratitude with you into the rest of your day.
