Welcome. Settle into a comfortable position, allowing your physical body to find a deep state of ease and relaxation. Adjust your posture so your spine is straight but not rigid. Close your eyes gently, or simply soften your gaze, resting your attention in the space around you.

Take a slow, deep breath in through your nose, feeling the air travel down your throat and filling your lungs completely.

And exhale slowly, letting go of any physical tension you might be holding in your shoulders, your jaw, or your lower back.

Allow your breathing to return to its natural, effortless rhythm now. You do not need to control or force the breath anymore. Simply let your body breathe exactly as it wants to, trusting its innate wisdom.

Bring your full attention to the physical sensation of breathing. Notice where you feel the breath most clearly in your body. It might be the cool air passing through your nostrils, the gentle rise and fall of your chest, or the deep expansion and contraction of your belly.

Wherever that sensation is most vivid for you, let your mental focus rest there. Anchor your mind to this simple, continuous rhythm of life flowing in and out.

As you observe your breath, you might notice your mind starting to wander. Thoughts about the past, plans for the future, or judgments about the present moment may appear. Please know that this is completely natural. It is simply what minds do.

When you notice your attention has drifted, simply acknowledge the thought without any frustration or criticism. Then, gently and patiently, guide your awareness back to the physical feeling of your very next breath.

Every single time you return your focus to the breath, you are strengthening your ability to remain grounded in the present moment. In breath. Out breath. Just this single moment in time.

Now, notice the delicate, quiet pause at the very top of your inhalation, just before the breath turns around. And notice the peaceful stillness at the bottom of your exhalation, right before the next cycle of breath begins.

Rest your attention in those tiny spaces of stillness. Allow the continuous, rhythmic wave of your breathing to wash away any lingering stress or mental distraction.

You are fully here. You are simply breathing. Right now, you have nowhere else to be, nothing else to do, and nothing to figure out.

Feel the solid weight of your body supported by the earth beneath you, deeply grounded and secure. The breath is your faithful anchor, keeping you steady in the here and now.

As we begin to bring this practice to a close, take one more intentional, deep breath in, gathering up this feeling of calm presence and quiet clarity.

And let it out with a soft, releasing sigh. Slowly begin to bring some gentle movement back into your body, perhaps wiggling your fingers and your toes. When you feel ready, softly open your eyes, bringing this mindful, anchored awareness with you into the rest of your day.
