Welcome to this meditation for focus and clarity. Find a comfortable position. You can be sitting at a desk, resting in a chair, or seated on a cushion. Allow your spine to grow tall and straight. Let your shoulders drop away from your ears. Let your hands rest softly in your lap. Close your eyes gently.
Take a slow, deep breath in through your nose. Fill your lungs completely. Now exhale softly through your mouth, releasing any immediate tension.
Allow your breathing to return to its natural rhythm. You are stepping away from the demands of your day. This is a moment to gather your scattered energy and sharpen your mind. Notice the physical sensation of sitting. Feel the weight of your body supported by the chair or the floor beneath you.
Bring your attention to your breath. Observe the cool air entering your nostrils and the warm air gently leaving. You do not need to change how you are breathing. Simply watch the breath as it flows in and out.
As you focus on your breath, you might notice thoughts drifting into your mind. This is completely natural. Imagine each thought is a small cloud passing across a vast, blue sky. You are the sky. The thoughts are just weather. Watch them drift away without getting attached to them.
Return your focus to the sensation of the breath. Inhale clarity. Exhale mental clutter.
Now, visualize a single point of light resting just behind your forehead, in the center of your mind. This light is bright, steady, and perfectly clear. With every breath you take, this light grows a little brighter. It burns away the fog of distraction.
Feel the warmth and clarity of this light expanding. It fills your entire mind, sweeping away confusion and fatigue. You feel your focus sharpening. You feel your awareness becoming crisp and precise. Anchor yourself in this steady, bright stillness. Rest here in pure focus.
If a distraction arises, simply notice it. Then bring your attention back to the bright, steady light in the center of your mind. Return to your breath.
Inhale deep focus. Exhale any lingering noise.
Allow yourself to remain in this state of quiet concentration. Your mind is like a calm, clear lake. There are no ripples. You can see all the way to the bottom. Enjoy this profound mental stillness.
You have cultivated a deep sense of clarity. You can carry this sharpened focus with you into the rest of your day. Notice how your body feels now compared to when you started.
Take one final, slow, deep breath in, gathering this feeling of presence. Exhale completely, letting go of anything that no longer serves your focus.
Slowly bring your awareness back to the room. Wiggle your fingers and your toes. Take your time. When you feel ready, gently open your eyes, awake, alert, and entirely clear.
