Welcome. Find a comfortable position. You can be seated or lying down. Allow your body to settle into whatever surface is supporting you. Let your hands rest gently. Close your eyes when you feel ready.

Begin by bringing your awareness to your breath. Simply notice the natural rhythm of your inhale and your exhale. There's nothing you need to change. Just observe.

Feel the air as it enters your nostrils. Notice its temperature, its texture. And then feel the air as it leaves your body.

With each exhale, imagine any tension you might be holding onto gently releasing. Like a sigh, a soft letting go.

Bring your attention to your feet. Notice any sensations in your feet. Perhaps warmth, perhaps coolness, perhaps simply the feeling of contact with the ground or the surface beneath you.

With your next exhale, allow your feet to become heavy and relaxed. Imagine any tightness dissolving away.

Now, move your awareness up to your ankles and your calves. Notice the muscles here. With each breath out, let these muscles soften.

Feel your knees and your thighs. These are large muscle groups. With this slow exhale, allow them to release their grip. Imagine them becoming soft and yielding.

Bring your attention to your hips and your pelvis. This area often holds a lot of stored tension. As you breathe out, let your hips sink down, releasing any resistance.

Now, feel your lower back. Gently scan this area. With a soft exhale, allow your lower back to relax. Imagine a warmth spreading through this region.

Move your awareness to your abdomen. Notice the gentle rise and fall of your belly with each breath. Allow your abdominal muscles to be soft and relaxed.

Feel your chest and your upper back. Notice the subtle movement here. With each exhale, let your chest soften, your shoulders relax away from your ears.

Bring your awareness to your shoulders. This is another common place for tension to accumulate. On this exhale, allow your shoulders to drop. Imagine them melting away from your neck.

Now, feel your arms. From your shoulders all the way down to your fingertips. Let your arms feel heavy and relaxed. Your hands are soft. Your fingers are still.

Bring your attention to your neck and your throat. Gently release any tightness you might be holding here. Imagine your neck becoming long and supple.

Now, focus on your jaw. Often we clench our jaw without even realizing it. Allow your jaw to soften. Let there be a slight space between your teeth.

Feel your cheeks and your mouth. Let them be soft and relaxed.

Bring your awareness to your eyes. Let the muscles around your eyes soften. Imagine a gentle ease settling in.

Feel your forehead and your scalp. Release any tension held in your forehead. Imagine your entire face becoming smooth and serene.

Now, bring your awareness to your entire body, from the tips of your toes to the crown of your head. Feel the sensation of deep relaxation spreading throughout you.

You are held. You are supported. You are safe. Rest in this feeling of calm. Allow yourself to simply be.

Continue to breathe deeply and evenly. With each breath, you are sinking deeper into this peaceful state.

Notice the quiet within you. The stillness. This is your natural state.

As we prepare to end this meditation, slowly bring your awareness back to the room. Wiggle your fingers and your toes.

When you are ready, gently open your eyes. Carry this sense of deep calm with you into the rest of your day.
