Welcome to this stress relief meditation. Find a comfortable position, either sitting or lying down. Allow your body to settle into stillness.

Gently close your eyes, or soften your gaze. Take a deep breath in through your nose. And a slow, gentle exhale out through your mouth.

Again, a deep, nourishing breath in. And a long, releasing breath out. Feel your shoulders begin to drop away from your ears. Your jaw softening.

Notice the weight of your body as it rests. Supported by the surface beneath you. Allow yourself to feel grounded.

Bring your awareness to your breath. Simply observe it, without trying to change it. Feel the gentle rise and fall of your chest. The subtle expansion of your abdomen.

With each inhale, imagine you are breathing in calm. A sense of peace flowing into your being. And with each exhale, imagine you are releasing all tension. All the worries and stresses of your day.

Let them go. Release them with each breath. There is nothing you need to do right now. Nowhere you need to be.

Your mind may wander. This is perfectly normal. When you notice your thoughts drifting, gently acknowledge them, and then guide your attention back to your breath.

Imagine a gentle wave washing over you. This wave carries away the remnants of the day. Any frustrations, any anxieties, any pressures. Let them dissolve.

Feel a sense of spaciousness opening within you. A quiet stillness. Allow yourself to simply be present in this moment. This moment of peace.

Think of any particular worries that are weighing on you. Visualize them as clouds in the sky. Watch as the wind of your breath gently blows them away. See them drifting further and further into the distance.

You are safe. You are supported. You are capable of letting go. Release the need to control. Release the need to hold on.

Allow your body to feel heavy and relaxed. Your limbs are soft. Your muscles are at ease. You are sinking into a deeper state of tranquility.

Feel the gentle rhythm of your breath. Inhale calm. Exhale stress. Inhale peace. Exhale worry.

Know that this sense of calm is always available to you. You can return to this feeling whenever you need to. Simply by returning to your breath.

Begin to bring your awareness back to your surroundings. Wiggle your fingers and toes. Gently deepen your breath. When you are ready, slowly open your eyes.

Carry this feeling of peace with you as you move forward. Thank you for taking this time for yourself.
