Welcome. Find a comfortable position, either sitting or lying down. Allow your body to settle. Gently close your eyes, or soften your gaze. Take a deep breath in, and as you exhale, let go of any immediate thoughts or worries.

Begin by bringing your awareness to your breath. Notice the natural rhythm of your inhale and exhale. You don’t need to change anything, just observe. Feel the gentle rise and fall of your chest or abdomen.

Now, bring your attention down to your feet. Notice any sensations present in your toes. Are they warm or cool? Do you feel any pressure from the ground beneath you? Simply acknowledge whatever you find, without judgment.

Move your awareness up to the soles of your feet. Feel the texture, the shape. Notice any tingling or pulsing. Allow any tightness in your feet to begin to soften and release with each exhale.

Bring your awareness to your ankles. Feel the joint, the way it supports your legs. Imagine any accumulated tension melting away from this area.

Now, bring your attention to your lower legs, your calves and shins. Notice any sensations here. Perhaps you feel the fabric of your clothing, or the air on your skin. Breathe into this area, and as you exhale, invite relaxation.

Continue this gentle journey upwards to your knees. Feel the structure of your knees. Imagine them becoming supple and at ease. Release any stiffness or holding you might be experiencing.

Now, bring your awareness to your thighs. Feel the weight of your legs resting. Notice any warmth or coolness. Allow your thighs to become heavy and relaxed, sinking deeper into your support.

Shift your attention to your hips and pelvis. This is an area where we often store tension. Feel the connection to the surface beneath you. Imagine a wave of relaxation washing over your hips, softening and releasing any tightness.

Bring your awareness to your lower back. Notice the natural curve. Breathe into this area, and as you exhale, invite a sense of spaciousness and release. Let go of any discomfort or strain.

Now, move your attention to your abdomen. Feel the gentle movement with your breath. Allow your belly to be soft. Release any clenching or holding in this area.

Bring your awareness to your chest and upper back. Feel the gentle expansion as you inhale, and the softening as you exhale. Notice any sensations in your shoulders. Allow your shoulders to drop away from your ears, releasing any burden.

Now, bring your attention to your arms. Feel them resting. Notice your upper arms, your elbows, your forearms. Allow your wrists and hands to soften. Feel the sensations in your fingers. Let go of any tension held here.

Move your awareness up to your neck and throat. Gently release any tightness. Imagine your neck becoming long and at ease.

Bring your attention to your jaw. Soften your jaw, letting your teeth part slightly. Relax your tongue in your mouth.

Now, focus on your face. Relax your cheeks, your temples, your forehead. Allow your entire face to soften and become smooth.

Finally, bring your awareness to the crown of your head. Imagine a gentle light or warmth spreading across your scalp. Feel your entire body now, from the tips of your toes to the crown of your head, in a state of gentle relaxation.

Take another deep breath in, and as you exhale, bring your awareness back to the room. Wiggle your fingers and toes, and when you’re ready, gently open your eyes.
