Welcome. Find a comfortable position, either sitting or lying down. Allow your body to settle, to find a place of ease. Close your eyes gently, or soften your gaze if that feels better for you.

Begin by noticing your breath. Not trying to change it, just observing its natural rhythm. Feel the gentle rise and fall of your chest or your abdomen with each inhale and exhale. Let your breath be your anchor in this present moment.

Now, bring your awareness to your feet. Notice the sensation of your feet touching the ground, or whatever surface they are resting on. Feel the soles of your feet, the tops, your toes. Are there any sensations present? Warmth, coolness, tingling, pressure? Simply acknowledge whatever you find, without judgment.

Gently shift your attention up to your ankles and your lower legs. Notice your calves, your shins. Feel the weight of your legs. Imagine any tension you might be holding in this area softening, releasing. With each exhale, let go a little more.

Bring your awareness to your knees. The front, the back, the sides. Feel this joint. If there's any tightness, simply invite it to loosen. Imagine a gentle wave of relaxation flowing through your knees, smoothing out any knots.

Now, move your awareness to your thighs and your hips. Feel the muscles in your thighs. Notice the vastness of your hips, the connection to your pelvis. Allow your hips to feel heavy, grounded, supported. Release any gripping or clenching.

Bring your attention to your abdomen. Feel the gentle movement of your breath here. Notice the sensations in your belly. Is it soft, or is it tight? Invite softness. Let your abdomen be a space of ease.

Now, expand your awareness to your chest and your back. Feel your rib cage expanding with each breath. Notice the muscles in your back. Imagine any tension held between your shoulder blades dissolving. Let your chest open, allowing space for your breath to flow freely.

Shift your focus to your shoulders. This is a common place where we hold tension. Feel the weight of your shoulders. Allow them to drop away from your ears. Imagine any burdens you are carrying on your shoulders gently falling away.

Bring your awareness down your arms, through your elbows, your forearms, your wrists, and into your hands. Feel your hands, your fingers. Notice any sensations. Warmth, coolness, numbness. Allow your arms and hands to feel heavy and relaxed.

Now, bring your attention to your neck and your throat. Gently release any tightness in your neck muscles. Allow your head to feel balanced and supported. Feel the front of your throat softening.

Finally, bring your awareness to your head and your face. Notice your jaw. Let it unclench. Soften the muscles around your eyes, your forehead. Feel your scalp. Allow your entire head to feel light and at ease.

Take a moment now to simply be present with your whole body. Feel the sensations, the aliveness. Acknowledge the incredible gift of your body, holding you and supporting you. With your next few breaths, gently bring your awareness back to the room. Wiggle your fingers and your toes. When you're ready, slowly open your eyes.
