Welcome. Find a comfortable position, either sitting or lying down. Allow your body to settle.

Gently close your eyes, or soften your gaze.

Begin to bring your awareness to your breath. Simply notice the natural rhythm of your inhale and exhale.

There's nothing you need to do, nowhere you need to be, except right here, right now.

Feel the gentle rise and fall of your chest or abdomen with each breath.

Allow your breath to be a steady anchor, bringing you deeper into this moment of peace.

Now, I invite you to bring to mind something you are truly grateful for. It could be something big, or something small. Perhaps it’s the warmth of the sun on your skin, or the comfort of your home.

Maybe it's the love of a friend, a family member, or even a pet.

Focus on that feeling of gratitude. Let it fill your chest.

Imagine it as a warm, golden light expanding within you.

Feel the genuine appreciation bubbling up.

What does this gratitude feel like in your body?

Perhaps a sense of lightness, or a gentle opening in your heart.

Allow yourself to fully experience this positive emotion.

Now, let another thing you are grateful for come to mind. It could be an experience, a skill you possess, or a simple pleasure.

Perhaps it's the ability to see, to hear, or to move.

Bring that feeling of thankfulness to the forefront of your awareness.

Notice how this gratitude impacts your mood.

Does it bring a smile to your lips? A sense of peace?

Continue to breathe deeply, allowing the feeling of gratitude to deepen with each exhale.

With each inhale, you are breathing in more appreciation. With each exhale, you are releasing any tension or stress, replacing it with this wonderful feeling of thankfulness.

Think of another aspect of your life that evokes gratitude. It might be a lesson learned, a challenge overcome, or an opportunity you've been given.

Hold that in your awareness.

Feel the gentle hum of contentment that arises from this appreciation.

This sense of gratitude is always available to you. It is a powerful tool for cultivating happiness and resilience.

You can return to this feeling whenever you need it.

As we begin to prepare to return to your day, take one more deep breath, carrying this feeling of gratitude with you.

On your next inhale, gently wiggle your fingers and toes.

When you are ready, slowly open your eyes.

Carry this feeling of appreciation and contentment with you throughout your day.
