Welcome. Find a comfortable position for yourself now. Whether you are sitting or lying down, allow your body to settle.

Let your eyes gently close. Take a slow, deep breath in through your nose, filling your lungs completely.

And exhale slowly through your mouth, releasing any initial tightness.

Again, a deep breath in. Feel the air expand your chest and abdomen.

And a long, slow exhale. Let go of the day, let go of any thoughts that are not serving you in this moment.

Now, bring your awareness to your breath, without trying to change it. Simply notice the natural rhythm of your inhales and exhales. Feel the gentle rise and fall of your chest, the subtle movement of your abdomen.

Notice the sensation of the air as it enters your nostrils, cool and fresh.

And the sensation as it leaves, slightly warmer.

Allow yourself to sink deeper into this present moment, into this feeling of stillness. Your breath is your anchor, guiding you back whenever your mind begins to wander.

Now, let's begin to release physical tension. Bring your attention to your feet. Notice any sensations there. Are they warm, cool, heavy, light? Simply observe.

With your next exhale, imagine all the tension in your feet melting away. Imagine it dissolving like sugar in warm water.

Move your awareness up to your ankles and calves. Feel them relax. Allow any tightness to loosen.

Continue this gentle scanning of your body, moving upwards. Bring your attention to your knees. Soften them.

Now, your thighs and hips. Notice any holding patterns here. With each exhale, let that holding go. Imagine your hips becoming heavy and grounded.

Bring your awareness to your lower back. Often we carry a lot of tension here. Breathe into this area, and as you exhale, imagine the muscles softening, releasing their grip.

Now, move to your abdomen and chest. Allow them to be soft and open. Feel the gentle expansion with each inhale, the gentle release with each exhale.

Bring your attention to your shoulders. Let them drop away from your ears. Imagine a weight being lifted from them.

Move down your arms, to your elbows, forearms, wrists, and hands. Let your hands be soft, your fingers relaxed. Feel the warmth or coolness in your palms.

Now, bring your awareness to your neck and throat. Soften these areas. Release any tightness you might be holding in your jaw. Gently unclench your teeth, allow your tongue to rest comfortably in your mouth.

Finally, bring your attention to your face. Soften your forehead, your temples, the muscles around your eyes. Allow your entire face to feel relaxed and at ease.

Feel your whole body now, from the tips of your toes to the crown of your head, bathed in a wave of relaxation. You are calm. You are at peace.

Rest in this stillness for a few more moments, simply being with your breath, with this profound sense of calm.

When you are ready, begin to gently bring your awareness back to the space around you. Wiggle your fingers and toes.

Take another deep breath in, and as you exhale, gently open your eyes. Carry this feeling of deep calm with you throughout your day.
