Welcome. Find a comfortable position now. Allow yourself to settle in. You can be seated or lying down, whatever feels most supportive for you in this moment. Gently close your eyes, or soften your gaze.

Begin by bringing your awareness to your breath. There's no need to change it or control it in any way. Simply notice the natural rhythm of your inhale and exhale.

Feel the air entering your body. Notice the subtle rise of your chest or abdomen as you inhale. And feel that gentle release as you exhale.

Let your breath be your anchor. Your connection to this present moment. There is nothing else you need to do right now. Nowhere else you need to be.

As you breathe in, imagine you are breathing in calm. And as you breathe out, imagine you are breathing out any tension. Any worries. Any distractions. Just let them go with each exhale.

Continue to observe the sensation of your breath. Perhaps you feel it at the tip of your nostrils. A gentle coolness on the inhale. A slight warmth on the exhale.

Or perhaps you notice the movement in your chest. The expansion and contraction. The gentle rise and fall. Allow yourself to sink deeper into this awareness.

If your mind wanders, and it will, that's perfectly okay. It's what minds do. Gently acknowledge the thought without judgment. And then, as if guiding a lost child, gently bring your awareness back to your breath. Back to the sensation of breathing.

Each breath is an opportunity to return. To return to this present moment. To this feeling of being alive. To this gentle rhythm of life flowing through you.

Feel the support of the surface beneath you. Grounding you. Holding you. Allow yourself to feel safe and secure.

Breathe in deeply now, filling your lungs. And exhale slowly, releasing everything that no longer serves you.

Notice the space between your inhale and your exhale. A moment of stillness. A pause. Embrace this quiet in-between.

Continue this practice for a few more moments. Simply being with your breath. Allowing it to guide you. To soothe you. To center you.

Feel the gentle ebb and flow. The constant, unwavering presence of your breath. It is always here for you. A constant companion.

As we prepare to close this meditation, take a few deeper breaths. Inhaling presence. Exhaling gratitude.

Slowly begin to bring your awareness back to your surroundings. Wiggle your fingers and toes. When you feel ready, gently open your eyes. Carry this sense of peace and awareness with you throughout your day.
