Welcome to your morning mindfulness meditation.

Find a comfortable position, either sitting or lying down. Gently close your eyes, or soften your gaze towards the floor.

Begin by bringing your awareness to your breath. You don't need to change it in any way, just notice the gentle rise and fall of your chest or abdomen.

Feel the air as it enters your nostrils, cool and refreshing, and feel it as it leaves, perhaps a little warmer.

Allow your breath to become your anchor, a gentle reminder of this present moment.

As you continue to breathe, notice any sensations in your body. Perhaps you feel the support of the surface beneath you.

Notice the temperature of the air on your skin. Acknowledge any subtle sounds that may be present in your environment, without judgment.

Now, bring your attention to your mind. It's natural for thoughts to arise. Imagine them like clouds drifting across the sky. You can observe them, acknowledge them, and then let them pass without holding on.

There's no need to force anything. Simply be present with whatever arises. If your mind wanders, that's perfectly okay. Gently guide your awareness back to your breath, your anchor.

Feel the steady rhythm of your inhale and exhale. Each breath is a new opportunity to be here, now.

As you continue to breathe, consider setting an intention for your day. What quality would you like to bring to your experiences today? Perhaps it's kindness, patience, clarity, or simply a sense of peace.

Hold this intention gently in your awareness. It's not a demand, but a soft invitation to yourself.

Now, gently broaden your awareness. Feel the connection between your body and the space around you.

Take a moment to appreciate this time you've carved out for yourself, a moment of stillness before the day unfolds.

Bring your awareness back to your breath. Take a slightly deeper inhale, filling your lungs. And exhale slowly, releasing any tension you might be holding.

Repeat this once more. A deep inhale, and a slow, complete exhale.

When you feel ready, begin to gently wiggle your fingers and toes. Feel the return of sensation to your extremities.

Slowly open your eyes, bringing the awareness and presence you've cultivated into the start of your day. May your day be filled with clarity and peace.
