Welcome. Settle into a comfortable position, whether you are sitting or lying down. Allow your body to find a sense of ease.

Gently close your eyes, or soften your gaze. Bring your awareness to the present moment, right here, right now.

Take a slow, deep breath in through your nose, filling your lungs completely. And exhale slowly through your mouth, releasing any tension you might be holding.

Inhale deeply again. And as you exhale, let go of any thoughts about the past or worries about the future. Just be here.

Notice the sensation of your breath entering and leaving your body. Feel the gentle rise and fall of your chest or abdomen. This breath is your anchor to this moment.

As you continue to breathe, bring your attention to your physical body. Notice where your body is making contact with the surface beneath you. Feel the support, the grounding.

Allow your shoulders to relax. Let your jaw soften. Release any tightness in your forehead or between your eyebrows.

Feel the warmth of the air on your skin. Notice the subtle sounds around you, without judgment, simply acknowledging their presence.

Imagine the light of a new day beginning to fill your awareness. This light is gentle, warm, and illuminating. It washes over you, bringing a sense of clarity and possibility.

With each inhale, you are drawing in this fresh, vibrant energy of the morning. With each exhale, you are releasing anything that no longer serves you, making space for what is new and beneficial.

Think of your mind as a calm lake. Thoughts may appear on the surface, like ripples. Observe them without getting caught up in them. Let them pass by like clouds in the sky.

You are not your thoughts. You are the observer of your thoughts, the vast stillness beneath the ripples.

Bring your awareness back to your intention for this day. Perhaps it is to be present, to be kind, or to approach challenges with a clear mind. Set this intention gently, without force.

Feel a sense of gratitude for this moment, for the opportunity to begin again. Gratitude for your breath, for your body, for the simple act of being alive.

As we prepare to close this meditation, take one more deep, cleansing breath in. And exhale, letting go completely.

When you are ready, gently begin to wiggle your fingers and toes. Slowly bring your awareness back to the room. And when you feel ready, you can softly open your eyes, carrying this sense of presence and clarity with you as you step into your day.
