Welcome. Find a comfortable position for yourself now, in your bed, where you can feel fully supported and at ease. Allow your body to settle into this space.

Gently close your eyes, or soften your gaze. Begin by simply noticing the weight of your body as it rests. Feel the support beneath you, holding you completely. There is nothing you need to do right now, nowhere you need to be, except here.

Take a slow, deep breath in through your nose. And as you exhale, let go of any tension you might be holding onto. Imagine it dissolving with each breath out.

Inhale deeply again. And exhale slowly, releasing any thoughts or worries from your day. They can wait for tomorrow. For now, your only task is to surrender to this moment of rest.

Bring your awareness to your breath. Notice the gentle rise and fall of your chest and abdomen. You don't need to change your breath in any way, simply observe it. Feel the cool air entering your nostrils, and the warmer air leaving.

Allow your breath to become a gentle anchor, a soft rhythm guiding you towards deep relaxation. With each inhale, imagine you are breathing in calm. And with each exhale, imagine you are releasing any remaining busyness.

Now, let your attention drift to your feet. Notice any sensations there. Perhaps warmth, or a gentle tingling. Simply acknowledge what you feel, without judgment.

Allow that sensation of relaxation to travel up your body. Moving into your ankles, your calves, and your knees. Feel the muscles in your lower legs softening, releasing.

Continue this gentle wave of relaxation up into your thighs, your hips, and your pelvis. Feel any tightness dissolving. Imagine your entire lower body becoming heavy and deeply relaxed.

Now, bring your awareness to your abdomen. Feel the gentle expansion with each inhale, and the soft release with each exhale. Allow your core to relax completely.

Let this feeling of ease move up into your chest. Notice the steady, peaceful rhythm of your heartbeat. It is a constant reminder of your body's natural ability to rest and restore.

Feel the relaxation spreading into your shoulders. Let them drop away from your ears. Release any burdens you might have been carrying there.

Allow this calming sensation to flow down your arms, through your elbows, your forearms, your wrists, and into your hands and fingers. Feel your arms becoming heavy and limp.

Now, bring your awareness to your neck and throat. Gently soften these muscles. Release any tension that may have accumulated there throughout the day.

Feel the relaxation moving up into your jaw. Let your teeth part slightly. Relax your tongue in your mouth.

Soften the muscles around your eyes. Relax your forehead. Feel your entire face becoming smooth and peaceful.

You are now completely relaxed, from the tips of your toes to the crown of your head. Allow yourself to float in this state of deep calm. There is nothing else you need to do but rest.

Imagine a soft, warm blanket of peace enfolding you. It is comforting, safe, and deeply relaxing. With each breath, you sink a little deeper into this gentle embrace.

Allow your thoughts to drift by like clouds in a vast, blue sky. You can observe them, but you don't need to engage with them. Just let them pass.

You are safe. You are at peace. You are ready to drift into a deep and restorative sleep. Surrender to the gentle pull of slumber. Let it carry you away.

Sweet dreams.
